Recent CDD Updates

  1. The CDD has met with Hillsborough County, and truck traffic for surrounding projects has been directed to avoid using Covington Gardens as a through route. Enforcement responsibility lies with HCSO.
  2. The CDD has put in a formal request with the county, for a four way stop at Covington Gardens, and Covington Stone. This is being reviewed by Hillsborough Traffic Engineering.
  3. The CDD has been informed by the county, there will be an additional lane created for queue at Doby Elementary, along Covington Gardens extending from Doby Elementary towards the CDD Clubhouse.
